The Wiggles!

We made it back from The Wiggles concert and Dylan had the best time ever! Of course, as soon as we arrived, I stood in the hour long line to purchase Wiggles junk treasures. Well worth it, though! ;) Dylan started getting very excited once he would look around and see other people with Wiggles bags and shirts on.

For about the first 20 minutes of the show, he looked like he was in pure shock. He just sat there staring at them with his mouth wide open. Then, he started realizing what was actually happening and started singing, clapping, dancing, pointing, and yelling! lol

We had great seats - on the very end of the row and the first row of the first level. So, we had the little area where people can walk right in front of us and the kids would run there to dance for a little bit. It was also fun because it was the area right where the actual Wiggles would walk by to get things from the audience and say 'hello'. Dylan even got a high-five from Murray (after we were all yelling at him and Murray saw his shirt and called his name so he would realize that he was standing right beside him!) Lucky kiddo! :)

Swimming Lessons teacher gift

Tonight I made a gift for Dylan's swimming lessons teachers. I didn't really make them, I embroidered their names on beach towels, but how cute are these?!...

Since I had everything out, I grabbed some of Dylan's things to put his initials on, because that's what I do. I had been wanting to put his initials on this one pair of swim trunks since I bought them and just hadn't had a chance. I ended up embroidering the front of the shorts to the back! Ugh, I should know to stop when I'm ahead. This is so typical. Just typical. These were some of my favorite swim shorts of his because they aren't all loud and gaudy. There are from Target and now, of course, I want more since I ruined these. I can't find them, so if you can find them in size 18 months, or up, get them for me, pretty please.

Oh, Toodles...

It's definitely party season around here! I have been so busy making invitations and more for birthdays every single week, some times more than one each week! We hosted a birthday party for Mark's mom on Monday at our house and then yesterday, we went to our niece Karli's Minnie Mouse 3rd birthday! I made the invitations, cupcake toppers, and the cake!

We gave Karli a personalized plate and place mat, with matching pink cowgirl boots this year. As soon as I saw the boots months ago, I thought of Karli and had to get them. Turns out she LOVED them! yay! :) She even got on the table and start dancing and shakin' her booty for everyone! I don't know where she learned her amazing dance moves... probably one of her crazy Aunts! ;)

Happy Birthday, Toodles! We love you!

Margaret's Mad Hatter Party

We have been so busy around here, but fun-busy! We love planning/having parties! I was so thrilled when our neighbor asked me to help plan her daughter's 4th birthday party! The theme was mad hatter and it has always been my dream to throw a mad hatter tea party! I even had a mad hatter tea party cake for my bridal shower!

I had so much fun helping to create some of the little decorations and such. They are some of my favorite ever! I made the invitations, cupcake toppers, party favor tags, water bottle labels, and chevron cookies. Everything, including the party, turned out so adorable! Mark finished tiny picnic tables to use as the long table for the kids to sit and and they were the best!

Everything came together so nicely and Steph did an amazing job! The weather could have been a bit cooler, but hey, it's July, and it's Texas. The kids had fun playing flamingo croquet, pinning the grin on the Cheshire cat, making fun hats, swinging, and riding in the barbie Jeep. The boys loved riding in the Jeep and looked so manly doing it! ;) Proof that boys don't care if the car is pink, or if the license plate reads 'CUPCAKE' ;)
